A Family Legacy in Design

Architecture has been in our DNA since childhood conversations with an artist and designer father. Those early studio visits shaped a lifelong respect for drawing, proportion, and careful observation. When McVickar Design Studio opened in Marin County in 1970, we built on that artistic foundation and focused on creating buildings and interiors that balance creativity with real-world practicality for Northern California clients.
