Malcolm McVickar leads the studio as principal architect and designer, carrying forward a family legacy that began in his father's art and design studio. Formal training in architecture, combined with more than five decades of practice in Marin County and Northern California, gives him an intuitive sense of proportion, light, and how spaces truly work for people. Malcolm guides every project personally, from first sketch through construction coordination, so clients always have a consistent point of contact.

He is known for listening closely, translating complex constraints into clear options, and using advanced 3D tools to make decisions feel simple and visual.
